| Location Based Services |
 Location Based Services (LBS) allow the tracking of an asset or alternatively provides the ability to send information to a machine relevant to its location. The machines location can be pinpointed via GPS or via a Location Based Service (LBS) provided by the local Network Operators.
GPS is a common method for accurately locating a machine within a 5-10 meters radius, whereas the network LBS can locate a machine within a radius of up to 500 meters by determining the distance of the wireless device from nearby cell sites.
